jazz vocals

The dreamy jazz vocals of Jennifer Griffith in “I Haven’t Got Time To Dream” are flanked by reclining passages, while the Latin flavored “Into The Blue” kicks up her vocal tempo a few notches as the clarinets twitter jubilantly around her. — Susan Francis, Mott and Broome

Jennifer has been singing jazz since she was a teen, and studied with Jay Clayton and Mark Murphy. Nowadays, she gigs at NYC venues, and is featured vocalist on reedman Steve Elson’s cd, Mott and Broome. Jennifer also enjoys creating and collaborating in different music genres as composer and pianist.
